Hi! I am Donna Knox.
I’ve been a homeschool mom since 2016, and it’s truly one of the most rewarding roles I’ve ever had. I lead Crosby Explorers Homeschool Group, where I plan, organize, and support families on their homeschooling journey. It’s a joy to build a community where learning feels exciting and achievable for every child.
My own children consistently test several years above their grade level, and over the years, I’ve helped many other parents build programs that work for their families too. Whether it’s encouraging a brand-new homeschool mom or designing curriculum ideas that inspire reluctant learners, I’m passionate about helping children thrive.
Since early 2020, I’ve been honored to work with families in the Crosby area. I’m certified through the National Tutoring Association, and my focus is always on helping kids fall in love with learning—because when they love what they learn, they naturally want to explore more.
I’m not a certified teacher, and I actually see that as a strength. I’ve had the opportunity to teach thousands of homeschool parents across the country—including many certified teachers. Time after time, they’ve shared that the inspiration-based approach I teach is something they never learned in formal training. They often return for more, eager to discover new ways to connect with and motivate their children.
I truly believe that every child wants to learn. The real challenge is discovering what lights them up—and that’s the heart of what I love to do.
