All Inclusive Classes for Homeschoolers Offered at Magellan
These students come 2 hours a day and they get all their work done. This can be a really great way for parents who are struggling to meet the state requirements to homeschool, check off that list and make sure they are appeasing the homeschool law. Some parents choose to use the extra time to do more at home, and some use these as their primary classses and use their extra time for extra curricular activities.
It may seem that 2 hours isn’t enough time, but students profess that they learn more in their time with me than they learn in school. Content is what matters. If you use engaging content, students will love what they learn and seek more out of its kind.
Although some reading instruction is included, this can also give students struggling to read more time to pursue that skill at home. Not being able to read is not a reason to hold a child back from pursuing higher education in math, history and science. When that skill catches up, and it always does, these students are no worse for the wear.
Classes will never meet in Wednesdays so that students can take part in Crosby Explorers Homeschool Group.
True North Weekly Classses Offered at Magellan
If you cannot commit to weekday classes, weekly True North classes can be an option for your homeschooler! If you have math and reading under control or you are using a method you like, but you only need history or science, this can be a great option to get your student into a classroom and learning with other students. Socialization is a huge part of educating a child, but something can be said for making sure that your student has time to learn with other students.
Classes are priced per week, but a discount is offered for those who sign up for more than 3 classes or who sign up more than one child.
The classes offered for the current year can be found on the registration link above.
